This was the second restaurant we’ve tried in Little Tokyo and this time, we were not disappointed :))
We ordered the Enma ramen where you can choose the spiciness level from 1-20! Unfortunately, I did not like the ramen and should’ve chosen spiciness level 20 instead, just for experience! :D
We chose the Omakase set which consists of salad, fish cake, kimchi, 1/2 cup of gohan, 4 plates of meat: 1 buta horumon (pork intestines), 1 butabara (pork belly), 1 beef karubi and 1 roce (beef). Which stood out? It’s the KARUBI! It.is.lovelovelove.
Butabara (pork belly) a.k.a bacon
Buta horumon (pork intestines)
last but not the least, Karubi <3 <3 <3
Isn’t it lovely? :)
A round of applause should also be given to their yakiniku sauce which the waitresses are happy to mix for you :) The Karubi really melts in your mouth and with THE sauce, each bite is perfection :)
To sum up our experience here, literally, I can only come up with the below:
Karubi + yakiniku sauce + gohan + soda = Congratulations baby, coz you just hit the jackpot!!! :D
Urameshi-ya raised the bar for yakiniku restaurants for me. Kind on the expensive side but who cares haha It’s soooo good!!!
